The russian calendar day!

The Russian system has:
first day of the week [Monday]
second day
middle day
fourth day
fifth day
last day and
resurrection day!
The only calendar in which there is no planet involved! Even communism could not do away with the resurrection!
But I am yet to find a reference beyond the days of the fortnights in any dated literature.
I do not think Valluvar or Ouvaiyaar have said any thing in this respect.
Do you have any idea?

Yes for some time they even had a system of 5 days to a week - Note it. It is not 5 working days to a week but a real 5 day week. That is why wednesday came to be called middleday!

I think Sri Knowledge Connection's thiruppadhigam refers the 9 grahas as graha only and not as week days.
